Our canvas fabrication includes indoor and outdoor covers for everything and anything with emphasis on the marine industry. Also part of the canvas is plastic enclosures, bimini tops, sprayhoods, dodgers and t-tops for boats.
Serving the Treasure Coast since 1984, Atlantic has been providing canvas and upholstery services to our local boating community for decades. From T-tops, to full covers and enclosures we have fabricated nearly every type of marine canvas product or upholstery project. Because of the harsh Florida sun UV damage makes replacing your marine upholstery and canvas on a regular basis. Thread Selection: Only as Strong as the Weakest Link
Thread is the most important aspect of any marine, awning, drop screen or shade sail project as it has to endure the harsh Florida sun day in and day out for many, many years. Too many times, canvas shops opt to cut costs by utilizing a sub-par thread only to have the project needing to be re-stitched after only a few years. With today’s fabrics engineered to last up to 10 years, the choice is clear: Use a thread that is guaranteed to last in writing.
